Facial Data
During employee enrollment, administrators may upload a facial photo of the employee to enable identity verification during attendance check-in and check-out. This photo is used solely for verifying that the person checking in matches the authorized employee profile. BoltHR does not collect biometric templates, facial geometry, or depth maps, and it does not use Face ID or similar biometric frameworks. Facial photos are encrypted in transit and at rest, securely stored on our servers, and never shared with third parties.
Automatically Collected Information
When you use BoltHR, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- Device information (model, operating system, unique identifiers)
- Log data (IP address, access times, app features used)
- Location data (with your permission, for check-in/check-out features)
